Other facts:
  • Steevi Jaimz were the first singer of Tigertailz. They got famous with the song "Livin' Without You" that got re-recorded with the new vocalist Kim Hooker after Steevi got fired from the band for being less committed and other issues. Young And Crazy was the first and only album Steevi was the lead vocalist in.
  • Their tour in 1995 went successful, but the record labels had lost interest in the band. They reunited in 2005. 10 years later.
  • The lineup with Kim Hooker, Pepsi Tate, Jay Pepper and Matt Blakout won the rights to the Tigertailz name in court and started with the album Bezerk 2.0.
  • The reunion lead to a short tour 2005, in Sweden and Spain together with Whitesnake and Twisted Sister.
  • In 2007, Pepsi Tate was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. During that year, Tigertailz released their album Thrill Pistol in August, just a month before Pepsi's death. R.I.P.
  • Tigertailz continued to tour with some european festival shows supporting Ace Frehley (KISS) in the UK.
  • Sarah Firebrand became Tigertailz new official bass player in 2010.
  • This year, Tigertailz are planning on releasing a new album.

  • The name L7 has often been mistaken by the sexposition '69', but really is a slang for 'square'.
  • L7 formed a group called Rock For Choice, a Pro-Choice for women's rights. The group got supported by acts like Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Rage Against the Machine. Rock For Choice still exists and arrange concerts.
  • The 4th album Hungry For Stink was released during the tour Lollapalooza when L7 shared stage with The Breeders and The Smashing Pumpkins
  • Slap-Happy was released in 1999, and did not get as much attention, L7 promoted the album by using a plane with the banner 'Bored? Tired? Try L7", the plane flew over Lilith Fair at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. The day after, a second plane flew over the Warped Tour at the Stone Pony lot in Asbury Park, New Jersey with the banner 'Warped needs more beaver....love, L7".
  • L7 has been appearences in the movies Point of No Return and Serial Mom.
  • At an festival in England in 1992, the band had difficulties with their equipment, the audience got out of patience and started to throw mud at the stage. Donita Sparks threw out her used tampon in protest.

  • Airborn was the first name Don Dokken used for the band, but he had to change it to Dokken because another band with a record deal, already had Airborn as a band name.
  • In 1981, Don went to Germany to sing background vocals on the upcoming Scorpions album Blackout. The Scorpions singer Klaus Meine had a vocal ailment at the time. 
  • The band Accept's manager secured Don of a record deal at Carrere Records when Don still was in Germany. The band was not yet complete.
  • Dokken got successful in Germany, which made the manager Cliff Bernstein sign them in the US. The band toured with Blue Öyster Cult in 1983.
  • Dokken opened up for Dio, Aerosmith, AC/DC & Judas Priest in 1985.
  • 1986, they recorded the song Dream Warriors for the movie A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors.
  • After the Monsters of Rock tour 1988, the band went seperate ways. George Lynch went solo, so did Don. The bass player Jeff Pilson joined McAuley Schenker Group but only for the M.S.G. album, later Jeff joined Dio, but for the second time, only during the Strange Highways album.
  • Don and George had their issues towards each other but the band reunited for the Dysfunctional album.
  • According to Don, George took total control over the album Shadowlife, George himself said it was the perfect album to finish Dokken.
  • George had dropped the tour in Europe late 1997, Don looked up John Norum from the swedish band Europe who also played on Don Dokken solo albums in the early 90's, John joined the band for the tour, but went back to his solo career. 
  • John Norum came back to Dokken for the tour dates, but after the release of Long Way Home and during the spring tour, John suffered with a hand injury, he got replaced by Alex De Rosso.
  • During 2010, a reunion was planned with the original Dokken, and also an announcement that the reunion would not happen, all this according to George. Who knows what happens next...

  • Razzle died in an car accident 1984. R.I.P
  • Hanoi Rocks last shows contained Terry Chimes (The Clash) on drums in 1985.
  • Michael Monroe and Andy McCoy got together again in 2001.
  • René Berg died in 2002 because of an long alcohol and drug addiction.

  • In the beginning, the band was named Tricky Beans and played more hard rock. 
  • They were influenced by the finnish power metal band Stratovarius. 
  • They have toured with Stratovarius in 2000, and also with Gamma Ray 2001
  • After the album Reckoning Night was released, an own tour was planned but they were invited to play with Nightwish, which changed the plans. 
  • Jens Johansson from Stratovarius played keyboards on the Winterheart's Guild album. 
  • The extended album Successor contains 2 covers 'Still Loving You' (originally by Scorpions) and 'I Want Out' (Originally by Helloween).
