- In the very beginning, The Donnas was named Ragady Anne, later on The Electrocutes before they settled with The Donnas.
- Kiss, The Runaways, The Ramones, AC/DC & Bachman-Turner Overdrive was the bands The Donnas were influenced by.
- Their songs has been featured in several movies, such as Detroit Rock City (The song Strutter originally by KISS), Jawbreaker (where The Donnas perform in the movie), The Hangover, & also at the end of the movie Mean Girls with the cover "Dancing With Myself" (Originally by Billy Idol)
- The album Greatest Hits Volume 16 is an celebration for the band since they had been a band since 16 years back. The year of release 2009, the band toured with Pat Benatar & Blondie. Unfortunately the drummer Torry had an shoulder damage, she could not play on the tour.
- The Donnas are now making a new album that will be released this summer!
