Other facts:
- The name L7 has often been mistaken by the sexposition '69', but really is a slang for 'square'.
- L7 formed a group called Rock For Choice, a Pro-Choice for women's rights. The group got supported by acts like Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Rage Against the Machine. Rock For Choice still exists and arrange concerts.
- The 4th album Hungry For Stink was released during the tour Lollapalooza when L7 shared stage with The Breeders and The Smashing Pumpkins.
- Slap-Happy was released in 1999, and did not get as much attention, L7 promoted the album by using a plane with the banner 'Bored? Tired? Try L7", the plane flew over Lilith Fair at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. The day after, a second plane flew over the Warped Tour at the Stone Pony lot in Asbury Park, New Jersey with the banner 'Warped needs more beaver....love, L7".
- L7 has been appearences in the movies Point of No Return and Serial Mom.
- At an festival in England in 1992, the band had difficulties with their equipment, the audience got out of patience and started to throw mud at the stage. Donita Sparks threw out her used tampon in protest.
