- From the beginning the band was called His Infernal Majesty. They changed to HIM because they could be seen as satanists.
- Juliette Lewis (Actress, singer) is featured in the music video 'Buried Alive By Love' from the album Love Metal.
- The name of the band got changed to 'HER' in America for the Razorblade Romance album. There was already a post-rock band called HiM. HIM bought their rights for the name later on.
- The heartagram that you can see on the Love Metal album, is a trending icon for HIM, For alot of fans. HIM also labels themselves as Love Metal.
- HIM played with Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, Placebo, Madina Lake, Styles of Beyond, The Bled, Saosin, Mindless Self Indulgence & Julien-K in 2007.
